Dans la nuit tranquille.
Night photography has always been one of my favorite sides to what I do. A calm feeling comes over me as I head out into the dark of night, camera mounted to tripod, eyes scanning the sky, looking for the perfect horizon. I set my timer to zero and with one finger on the timer and another on the camera’s shutter release, I press both simultaneously. Even though I always have a timer that is keeping track of the length of my shots, for some reason, I still count in my head, one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand…

Amazing shots, great work! I really like them all but especially the colours and processing on the pink Christmas lights against the dull wall and staircase!
Dear Brian,
In reading your posts and looking at your photographs, I think you are growing exponentially as a photographer and as a human being. Your photography is phenomenal. Breathtaking. I am happy to say that you are an even person than you are a photographer.
I forgot the word “better.”
Gosh Earney, that’s just about the nicest comment ever. Thanks old friend.
